About
We build for the end of the school day.
School dismissal is one of the least-instrumented daily routines in a child's life. It happens twice a day, it involves a minor, and in most schools it is still coordinated with a walkie-talkie and a paper list. ReadyBell exists to change that — for the car line and for the families who would rather ride.
The rules our software is built from
These are taken from the products' own specifications. A feature that violates one of them is wrong even if someone asked for it.
Never claim success before the server confirms it
No optimistic confirmations. If a write failed, the interface says so. If a notification was queued rather than delivered, it says that too.
A name is not an identity
Two families may each have a child with the same name. The systems are built so that never becomes a mix-up, and so one family is never told about another's child.
Say what is absent
“No trips today” is a real answer. A blank panel is not. If data is capped or a feature is unconfigured, the product says so plainly.
Simplicity is a safety property
Every approval queue and configuration screen removed is one fewer thing for a school to be stuck inside on a bad afternoon.
Two products
ReadyBell Pickup
School dismissal and student pickup management, on iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
ReadyBell Bikepool
Parent-led group biking, walking, and scooting, with a school administrator dashboard on the web.
Placeholder — needs company confirmation
Company background — founding, team, location, legal entity, and any press or partnership information — is not published here because it has not been confirmed. Nothing has been invented to fill the gap. Replace this block before launch.
Bring every school journey together.
